Eat the Apple

from CA$275.00

"Eat the Apple" flips the script on the biblical tale, challenging the narrative that Eve’s choice led to humanity's downfall. Instead, this painting celebrates Eve as a symbol of curiosity, defiance, and empowerment. She doesn’t apologize for tasting the forbidden fruit—she embraces all the apples, gains knowledge, and thrives. Far from being punished, she rewrites the story (and maybe even starts a business offering the fruit of knowledge to others—look closely at the tag: 'Eve's Orchard'). This Eve reminds us that seeking truth and following our hearts can lead to strength, growth, and endless possibilities.

Original painted canvas - SOLD;

Available as archival pigment print on 100% cotton Rag Fine Art paper in 3 sizes.

The universal rules of womanhood go something like this: be polite; be thin; hide all signs of ageing; put all attention to your appearance; become a mother; don’t be too ambitious or loud; carefully craft every moment of your child’s day
